Berin Orhan

She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Gedik University and a bachelor's degree in Physics from Yıldız Technical University. She received her master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Üsküdar University with a thesis titled “Investigation of Hand Preference Distribution in Psychiatric Patients with and without Psychotic Symptoms”.

Throughout her career, she has been interested in psychoanalytically oriented and existentialist schools, participated in and led group therapies, practiced art therapy and focused her work on the body over time. She received her Integral Somatic Psychology © accredited practitioner certificate training from Raja Selvam. In December 2022, after completing the Jungian Somatics © with Jane Clapp training, she developed the Somatic Alchemy © approach and established Istanbul Jungian Studies and realized the first international training with Jane Clapp.

Berin Orhan, who underwent individual analysis with an approach inspired by Jungian perspective and Sufi teachings between 2011-2015, started to see clients after completing this process in 2015 and created her own authentic approach over the years.

She took part in national and international congresses, gave conferences and was a guest on various media programs.

Orhan's clinical work is based on three pillars. Dream, body and art.

Depending on the needs and demands of her clients, her approach, which emphasizes that the process is unique to the individual, is oriented towards recognition rather than diagnosis.
