Neredeyse her \u015fey insan ruhuna ve onun i\u015flevlerine ba\u011fl\u0131d\u0131r. Bunun nedeni ise insan zihninin uzun evrimsel geli\u015fimidir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130nsan do\u011fa \u00fczerindeki g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc art\u0131rd\u0131k\u00e7a, bilgisi ve becerisi onu sarho\u015f etmi\u015f; do\u011fal ve rastlant\u0131sal olana, yani irrasyonel olarak verilmi\u015f olana kar\u015f\u0131 duydu\u011fu k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fcmseme derinle\u015fmi\u015ftir. Buna, bilincin d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda kalan her \u015fey\u2014yani nesnel psi\u015fe\u2014de dahildir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bilincin \u00f6znelcili\u011fine kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k bilin\u00e7d\u0131\u015f\u0131 nesneldir ve kendisini \u00e7o\u011funlukla kar\u015f\u0131t duygular, fanteziler, duygulan\u0131mlar, d\u00fcrt\u00fcler ve r\u00fcyalar bi\u00e7iminde g\u00f6sterir. Buna kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k dinsel insan, kendi evinin tek efendisi olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesine daha a\u015finad\u0131r. Son kertede karar verenin kendisi de\u011fil Tanr\u0131 oldu\u011funa inan\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ancak ka\u00e7\u0131m\u0131z Tanr\u0131\u2019n\u0131n iradesinin belirleyici olmas\u0131na izin verebiliriz? Ancak ayn\u0131 psi\u015fik zemin yaln\u0131zca ahlaki tepkiler \u00fcretmedi\u011finden, inanan ki\u015fi vicdan\u0131n\u0131 geleneksel etik \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fctlere\u2014yani kolektif de\u011ferlere\u2014g\u00f6re de\u011ferlendirir ve bu s\u00fcre\u00e7te Kilise taraf\u0131ndan desteklenir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Birey geleneksel inan\u00e7lar\u0131na tutunabildi\u011fi ve zaman\u0131n ko\u015fullar\u0131 bireysel \u00f6zerkli\u011fe daha g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir vurgu yapmay\u0131 gerektirmedi\u011fi s\u00fcrece bu durum s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ancak d\u0131\u015f fakt\u00f6rlere y\u00f6nelmi\u015f ve dinsel inan\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 yitirmi\u015f d\u00fcnyevi insan\u0131n kitleler h\u00e2linde ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131yla durum k\u00f6kten de\u011fi\u015fmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu noktada inanan ki\u015fi savunmaya \u00e7ekilmek zorunda kal\u0131r ve inan\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131n temellerini yeniden sorgular. Art\u0131k \u201cconsensus omnium\u201dun g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc etkisi taraf\u0131ndan desteklenmemekte; Kilise\u2019nin zay\u0131flamas\u0131n\u0131 ve dogmatik varsay\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131n k\u0131r\u0131lganl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 fark etmektedir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kilise buna kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k daha fazla inan\u00e7 \u00f6nerir; sanki bu l\u00fctuf, insan\u0131n keyfine ba\u011fl\u0131ym\u0131\u015f gibi. Oysa inanc\u0131n yeri bilin\u00e7 de\u011fil; insan\u0131 Tanr\u0131 ile do\u011frudan ili\u015fkiye sokan spontan dinsel deneyimdir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu noktada \u015fu soru ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar: Tanr\u0131 ile do\u011frudan ili\u015fki kurmam\u0131 sa\u011flayacak bir dinsel deneyimim var m\u0131? Ve bu deneyim beni kitle i\u00e7inde \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fclmekten koruyacak bir kesinlik sunuyor mu?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu soruya olumlu bir yan\u0131t ancak birey, s\u0131k\u0131 bir \u00f6z-inceleme ve kendilik bilgisi s\u00fcrecine girmeye istekliyse m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu s\u00fcreci izleyen ki\u015fi yaln\u0131zca kendisi hakk\u0131nda \u00f6nemli do\u011frular ke\u015ffetmekle kalmaz; ayn\u0131 zamanda psikolojik bir avantaj da elde eder: kendisini ciddiye almaya ve ona de\u011fer vermeye ba\u015flar. Bu g\u00f6rev, d\u00fcnyay\u0131 anlayabilecek ve y\u00f6nlendirebilecek bireylere y\u00f6neliktir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ne var ki entelekt\u00fcel kapasite ile duygusal olgunluk nadiren birlikte bulunur. \u0130nsan psi\u015fesinde ak\u0131l ile duygu aras\u0131ndaki \u00e7at\u0131\u015fma tarihsel olarak derin bir sorundur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu nedenle \u00e7a\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n g\u00f6revini yaln\u0131zca ahlaki bir talep olarak form\u00fcle etmek yeterli de\u011fildir.
